FAQs
Temper sets rates according to the market-specific conditions of the region. Currently, local Temper rates are as follows: €3.90 in the Netherlands and £3 in the United Kingdom.
Temper is known for its transparency. For each hour worked, you pay the FreeFlexer's rate, plus a €3.90 user fee to Temper. Both are due only after the shift is completed. This includes use of the software, the automatic billing system, support services and the FreeFlexers insurance package that comes with each shift. There are no fees other than this for using Temper!
FreeFlexers are not employed by anyone. This is because all FreeFlexers are self-employed (zelfstandigen zonder personeel). That means they are 18+ and if they work permanently through Temper, they all have their own VAT number.
If you have a good click with someone and want to offer them a permanent position, you are fully free to do so. Unlike employment agencies, Temper does not charge a fee for this.
