What do I want to know when I start freeflexing?
1. What is freeflexing?
If you work via our platform, you are a FreeFlexer. When freeflexing, you work for yourself and you have the freedom to determine which jobs on our platform you respond to. Because you can work for various hospitality or retail companies, every day will be different.
2. What is the difference between Temper and an employment agency?
As a temporary worker, you have a contract and you are on the payroll of a company. Via our platform, you work as an independent entrepreneur and you don't have a contract with anyone.
Do I need experience to work via Temper?
In order to get started as a FreeFlexer via Temper, you generally don't need experience. You can respond to jobs freely without previous work experience.
If you have relevant skills, add them to your profile. This will make your profile even more attractive to potential clients. This is how to add work experience to your profile.
Temper does not check your work background. But as you can imagine, a client will have expectations in line with the work experience you have added. As with many things in life: honesty is the best policy!
How do I create a profile?
To get started with Temper you need a profile. Do you already have one? Please log in.
- Go to go.temper.works/signup or download the app.
- Select the 'Register via Facebook' button to use your Facebook account, or use email to create a profile.
- To work via Temper you have to go through all the steps. You just want to look around? Skip the steps and pick them up whenever you want to continue your registration.
What are some tips for a successful FreeFlexer profile?

What's the difference between a FreeFlexer a freelancer a temp and a flex worker?
Working via our platform does not fit into the existing categories of 'freelancer', 'temp worker' or 'flex worker'. A flexworker with a zero-hours contract just has to wait and see if he gets work. A temporary worker is bound to a contract with an employment agency. A freelancer has all the freedom, but has to look for jobs himself and has the uncertainty of finding sufficient work.
Our platform features 20,000 new jobs every week that FreeFlexers sign up for on their own initiative. So a FreeFlexer is not tied to anything, but always has enough work at hand.
How soon do I get paid?
After you've worked your shift, you need to complete the checkout via your app. After that, the client will need to confirm your hours. During the checkout procedure you can select the payment option you prefer:
1. DirectPay You will get your earnings the moment the client confirms your checkout. It's the easiest and quickest way to receive your payment enabled by the factoring company Finqle. The costs for this service is 2,9% of the total invoice amount.
2. As soon as the client paysAfter you shift is complete, the client will receive an invoice to pay As soon as they cover this invoice, you will have the money in your account.
