In the ever-changing business world, flexibility is the key to success. Whether you're managing the schedule or looking to shift, adaptability is key, especially when unexpected events affect your work.

Our digital bulletin board provides a smooth experience for both clients and freelancers. While no-shows are rare (with a 98.5% turnout rate on Temper), we've improved the decision process on how to deal with them. The update offers clients and FreeFlexers a reliable way to resolve issues quickly without contacting our support team. Managing checkouts, shifts, or administration is a simple self-service process.

We understand that disagreements can arise, especially over no-shows. We are therefore committed to transparent and productive relationships and provide the necessary tools to address challenges together.

So, what's new?

For clients our revamped no-show flow gives you more options to handle different situations related to no-shows. Depending on the circumstances, your shift decision can now include:

  • Leave the no-show, with or without compensation;
  • Have the FreeFlexer sign up for future shifts, or choose to make your shifts invisible to him/her;
  • If you agree that the reason for absence is justified or you have come to an agreement together, you can remove the no-show for the FreeFlexer. There are no further consequences and the attendance rate on their profile will not be affected.

We have also streamlined the response time for disagreements. Just remember that you must respond to disputes within seven days. If not, the no-show automatically expires, which means the FreeFlexer in question will not be fined, will not be blacklisted and it will not affect attendance rates.

For freelancers we understand that life can present you with unexpected challenges. Our new flow is designed to support responsible FreeFlexers when unavoidable problems prevent them from working their shift. It increases your chances of reaching an agreement with the client, allowing you to avoid compensation penalties.

New features include,

  • A wider range of situations to explain your missed shift. You can also add a personal message and upload documents as evidence, giving you the tools to share your reasons effectively.
  • Improved transparency by being able to track changes in the status of disputes and access the details of the client's final decision.

Temper's revamped no-show flow shows our determination to give you the maximum flexibility and control in organizing your work.
