In today's ever-changing business world, flexibility is key to success. Whether managing a workforce or looking for a shift between classes, adaptability is vital, especially when unexpected changes impact your work.

Our digital notice board ensures a smooth experience for both clients and freelancers. While no-shows are rare (with a 98.5% attendance rate on Temper), we've enhanced our resolution process to handle those exceptional situations. This update offers a reliable way for clients and freelancers to quickly resolve issues without contacting support. Managing checkouts, shifts, or records is a simple self-service process.

We understand that disputes can occur, especially regarding no-shows. We're committed to transparent and productive relationships and provide the necessary tools to address challenges in each other's best interests.

So, What's New?

For Clients, our revamped no-show flow gives you more options to handle various situations related to no-shows. Depending on the circumstances, your final decision on a shift can now include:

  • Keeping the no-show in place, with or without compensation;
  • Let the FreeFlexer apply for future shifts, or choose to make your shifts invisible to them;
  • If you agree that the reason for their absence is warranted or you've reached a mutual agreement, you can remove the no-show for the FreeFlexer. There will be no further consequences, and the show-up rate on their profile is unaffected.

We've also streamlined the response time for disputes. Remember, though, that you must respond to disputes within seven days. If not, the no-show automatically drops, which means no compensation fine, no blacklisting, and no impact on attendance rates.

For Freelancers, we recognise that life can throw unexpected challenges your way. Our new flow is designed to support responsible freelancers when unavoidable problems prevent them from making their shifts. It enhances your chances of reaching an agreement with the client, allowing you to avoid compensation fines.

New features include,

  • A wider range of situations to explain your missed shift, and you can also include a personal message and upload documents as proof, giving you the tools you need to share your reasoning effectively.
  • Improved transparency by allowing you to track dispute status changes and access the details of the client's final decision.

Temper's redesigned no-show flow exemplifies our commitment to providing you with the utmost flexibility and control in managing your work.
