Horecava 2023: have you had a drink at our Temper bar?

The Horecava: the fair where professionals in the world of food, drink and the hotel industry meet. After 2 years of no physical fair due to corona measures, it promised to be a vibrant edition. It revolved around the 3 themes: sustainability, human resources and innovation. Temper, the platform for flexible work, was therefore not to be missed as one of the 650 exhibitors!

After all, the hospitality industry is what our platform started with 6 years ago. By offering a solution to the staff shortage the hospitality industry has been struggling with for ages, with a platform where hospitality companies and freelance professionals can get in touch with each other. The Horecava was therefore the perfect opportunity to share our story with numerous new and existing clients and FreeFlexers over coffee, drinks and snacks at the Temper bar. Prepared and served by FreeFlexers. So visitors experienced the FreeFlex quality right away!

FreeFlexer Jesse: "I worked as a bartender at Temper's booth during the Horecava. I've had some great days and a nice experience to work for Temper itself through the platform and get to know the people behind the company."

Did you see a line at our booth? That was for quick-draw artist Christel, who draw a caricature on a beer mat from her pen within 2 minutes.

A more than successful first Horecava

The total of 60,000 visitors, spread over 4 days, definitely knew their way to our stand. Every day our green oasis was full of people, where everyone was welcome for a chat, to learn more about our platform and of course to taste the best (also green) cocktails.

A successful first time at the Horecava if you ask Milou (Team Lead Hospitality at Temper): "We spoke with many new clients but also had the opportunity to welcome existing partners to our stand for a coffee or a drink. Hospitality business owners really enjoyed seeing the faces behind the platform and for those not yet familiar with Temper to see how FreeFlexers were working 'in real life'. The Horecava was a good way to tell our story and make the Dutch hospitality industry familiar with this way of flexible work."
