Tips are handled directly at the workplace. If you want to know how it works before your shift, just reach out to the company for details. There are some differences between employed and freelance shifts, read more below.
Employed shift
For employed shifts, the inlenersbeloning (equal pay rule) applies. This means the company has to pay you at least the same as their own employees in the same role, and that includes any tips.
Freelance shift
Keep in mind that for freelance shifts, clients don’t have to share tips with you, though it’s always nice when they do!
