Only for employed shifts you may receive extra pay when working in the weekend, at night, or on public holidays.
Employed shift
If you’re working a employed shift during the weekend, at night, or on a public holiday, you may be entitled to extra pay. This depends on two factors:
CAO
Check the CAO (collective labour agreement) that applies to your position to see the details of the extra pay that is included for these shifts. Find this CAO in the shift overview or in your labour agreement.
Inlenersbeloning
There is a so-called “hirer’s wage” (inlenersbeloning). This means the client must always offer you at least the same wage as their own employees in the same position. If they receive extra for certain times/ shifts, you should too.
Surcharges for working irregular hours are already included in the wage shown on the shift page.
Freelance shift
For freelance shifts, there are no extra rates. But companies can choose to offer a higher hourly rate, or you can negotiate the proposed rate yourself.
