Employed shift
When you work shifts through temporary employment, Temper is your employer, and the company where you work is the hiring company.
The hirer uses Temper to find staff for temporary work and is responsible during your shift for providing a safe working environment, supervising your work, and recording your working hours. Although you work on-site under the hirer's guidance, you are officially employed by Temper.
Freelance shift
Temper is not your client during freelance shifts, the company where the shift takes place is your client. You work as an independent contractor, and Temper is simply there to connect you with great companies. Think of us as a noticeboard where you can find new clients.
Your clients are the businesses where you actually work, such as restaurants, shops, or hotels. As a freelancer, you are responsible for your own communication. Any questions you have about a shift or, for example, the checkout can be discussed directly with your client.
