We need to verify your identity, make sure you’re allowed to work in the Netherlands, and collect your BSN. To do this, you must go through ID verification, which has two parts:
- Uploading a valid ID document
- Take a selfie for biometric verification
Common reasons for rejection
- Work eligibility. Your ID must allow you to work in the Netherlands. This can be a passport or national ID card from the EEA or specific types of residence permits.
- Poor upload quality. The entire original document must be visible. Copies or scans are not accepted. Make sure the document is well-lit (preferably daylight).
- Invalid ID document. Driver’s licenses are not sufficient to prove work eligibility but may be requested to validate your BSN.
- Selfie issues. Make sure your face is fully visible and fits within the outline on the screen.
- Name mismatch. The name on your ID must match the name on your Temper account. If, for example, you forgot a second last name, contact Support, we can fix this for you.
- You already have an account. You may only have one account. If you already have an account, continue using that one.
My ID should have been accepted. What now?
If you’ve checked the reasons above and believe your ID should have been accepted, but isn’t, contact our support team for further help.
