What if the client asks me to do other work than described in the briefing?

The shift description explains exactly what is expected of you and what you can expect. For example, what tasks you will perform. These expectations are also included in the agreement you sign when you get hired for the shift. So, if you’re hired for a barista shift, you cannot be placed in the dishwashing area without agreeing to this.

The company can always check with you if you’re open to doing other tasks. It’s great if you’re flexible, but in the end it’s your choice.

If there’s no work in your planned role and you don’t want to switch tasks, you can ask the client to cancel the shift.
